My name is Eldefonso “Bob” Roberto. I’ve been teaching English as Second Language (ESL) for seven (7) years now. I started my first ESL Teaching career in January of 2004 when I was still in college. I am already married with a son.
Teaching, most especially English, was not my first priority then because, first, my major was not English; second, I did not like English at all. My interest in English started when my friend introduced me to do tutorial job to some Korean students in my place in Cavite, Philippines. Most of them were studying in my school. From that time on my passion in Teaching started. I got to love English itself and the Teaching English as well.
From English tutorial job, I become a regular English as Second Language (ESL) Teacher for few years. After graduation in college with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management (Adventist University of the Philippines), I served as ESL Teacher in DJKM Knowledge Center for Korea, Inc., a Korean Language Institute (April 2007) and in January 2008, I become the Head ESL teacher in the same institute. In the mid year of 2008 (April 2008), I was appointed to be the Operations Director of the same Language School. In June 2009, I took up Professional Teaching course and in June 2010, I started my Master’s Degree in Education major in Administration and Supervision in the Adventist University of the Philippines.
On June 2011, DJKM was changed into Brown International School and I was elected again as the Assistant Principal. To pursue my studies and to concentrate in the course I started, I decided to stop and resign from my office as Assistant Principal.
This site was created intended for all ESL learners and ESL teachers who are seeking for Free Study Guide and Teaching Materials Online. All the contents on this site are solely contributed by the author himself touched with years of experience about teaching English as Second or Foreign Language.
